His goal is to teach students how to trim and shoe horses correctly and prepare them to become a successful professional farrier.

Kelly and his wife Roseann (who is also a part-time farrier, and a BWFA Certified Apprentice) have worked in the horse industry for a number of years, breaking and training horses for people, as well as working with there own horses.
Chad
ShurShod Horseshoeing School is proud to announce the addition of Chad Cullin to the teaching staff of ShurShod Horseshoeing School .

Chad is a 2006 graduate of ShurShod Horseshoeing School and currently holds a Certified Journeyman Farrier Level 1 certification from the Brotherhood of Working Farriers.
Chad owns and operates a successful equine enterprise in Clyde Missouri that not only includes Farrier Services but breaking and training horses as well.
Chad has 30 years of experience with horses that started when he was in grade school working with his grandfather. He has always been involved in the equine industry in some manner and feels that attending horseshoeing school was just a natural progression in his equine education. Chad says “ Attending horseshoeing school and working as a farrier has made me realize just how important a properly trimmed and shod hoof is to the overall health and performance of the horse “ Because of this Chad is constantly working at honing his skills in the forge and under the horse. He is currently an active member of the Brotherhood of Working Farriers Assc and the Missouri Farriers Assc. In an effort to learn and keep his skills sharp he has participated in shoeing contests at the Farriers National Research Center, and this year won first place in the Missouri Farrier Associations “Eagle Eye” contest.
Not only does he enhance the ShurShod curriculum with his experience as an equine professional but he also has quite a background in athletics and has enjoyed being an assistant football coach at the Stanberry RII school district in Stanberry Missouri.
His coaching experience has been extremely helpful when it comes to working with and instructing students as the coach in him is able to motivate students both mentally and physically to achieve skill levels that will help them become a successful farrier after they graduate from ShurShod.
